Choosing water stations for a gym
Gym members go through a lot of water, and most bring their own bottle. A bottle filling station refills a large sports bottle quickly and keeps the line moving between sets.
Freestanding or wall units
The freestanding Avalon A52 and A52-C stand on their own and need only a water line and a drain, and the A52 tracks bottles saved with a built-in counter. Wall units like the A50, A50-SB and A51 series keep the floor clear in narrow hallways and locker rooms.
Cold, filtered water
Members drink more when the water is cold. Chilled models such as the A52-C, A50-C and A51 series deliver cold water, and NSF-certified dual stage filters keep it tasting clean. In a busy gym, filters may need changing before the 6 month mark, so keep spares on hand.
ADA and shared spaces
Public facilities usually need an ADA compliant unit. The A51, A51-NF and A51-OFNC are ADA compliant. Touchless sensors cut down on shared touch points.

How often do filters need changing in a gym?
Avalon filters are rated for about 1,500 gallons or 6 months. Busy gyms often hit the gallon limit first, so watch the filter light.
Are these units ADA compliant?
The Avalon A51, A51-NF and A51-OFNC are ADA compliant. The A50 fillers are not.
Do gym orders ship free?
