Avalon A50-C Chilled Bottle Filler
Cold, filtered refills from a bottle filler that recesses into the wall
Room temperature water is the fastest way to get a bottle filler ignored. The Avalon A50-C pairs the in-wall A50 bottle filler with the A50-CC high capacity chiller, so every refill comes out at 46 to 54°F. A 12 inch tall dispensing area takes full-size bottles, and a touchless sensor starts the flow.
The filler mounts inside the wall with a built-in drain, while the compact chiller sits on a nearby shelf, under a cabinet, or in the wall below. The chiller cools 20 liters per hour from a 3 liter stainless tank, and every pour still runs through NSF-certified dual filtration and a UV-C LED.
Bought separately, the A50 and A50-CC run $1,199.98. The A50-C bundle is $999.99. No wall cavity to work with? The A50-SB-C is the out-of-wall version with cooling.

- Drain line inside or near the wall for the included 10 ft drain tube
- Cold water line, 10 to 72 psi, for the included 3/8 in tubing
- Two grounded 110V outlets, one for the filler and one for the chiller, indoors only (no extension cords)
- Wall shallower than the unit? Avalon's Trim Kit Extender covers up to a 3/4 in gap
A50-C filters and upkeep
The A50-C uses Avalon's NSF-certified dual filter set, models A4FILTER and A5FILTER. Each set lasts about 1,500 gallons or 6 months, and the display shows a replace-filter indicator when it is time.
Changes happen from the front: remove the faceplate, close the shutoff valve, twist out both cartridges, and press the reset button. The first set ships with the unit. When it is time, order the Avalon dual replacement filter set.

Avalon A50-C FAQs
What is the difference between the A50-C and the A50?
They use the same in-wall bottle filler. The A50-C adds the A50-CC chiller, so water comes out at 46 to 54°F instead of room temperature. It costs $300 more than the A50 alone and $199.99 less than buying the A50 and A50-CC separately.
Where does the chiller go?
Anywhere within reach of the included 10 ft tubing: on a shelf, under a cabinet, or in the wall below the filler behind the A50-GRILL cover. It connects to the filler with insulated tubing and one wire, and plugs into its own grounded outlet.
What does it need to install?
A 14.43 x 23.8 in cutout between two studs, a drain line, a cold water line, a spot for the chiller, and two grounded 110V outlets. The filler screws to the studs, and the tubing, drain tube, and hardware come in the box.
Is the A50-C ADA compliant?
No. Avalon lists the A50 bottle filler as not ADA compliant. If the location needs an accessible unit, the Avalon A51 is ADA compliant and pairs a chilled drinking fountain with a bottle filler. Call us and we'll help you pick the right setup.
Can I add a chiller to an A50 I already have?
Yes. The A50-CC chiller is sold on its own and connects to an installed A50. The filler comes out of the wall so the chiller tubing and wire can be connected behind it.

- Coverage: Avalon products include a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty from the original purchase date. The warranty ends early if the product is sold or transferred.
- Registration: Register your unit with Avalon within 30 days of purchase to activate the warranty on Avalon's product registration page. Keep your model number, order number, and purchase date.
- Troubleshooting first: Every claim starts with troubleshooting alongside Avalon's support team. If a part fixes the issue, Avalon provides that part at no cost. A replacement unit is considered only after parts and troubleshooting have been tried.
- Installation and labor: Installation, maintenance, and repairs are the purchaser's responsibility. Plumber or third-party labor and extra installation materials are not covered.
- Not covered: Damage from accidents, misuse, improper installation or maintenance, relocation, unauthorized repairs, or unsanitary conditions. Units must be plugged directly into a grounded wall outlet. Using an extension cord or surge protector voids the warranty.

- A valid serial number and proof of purchase may be required. Shipping costs to return a product for repair or replacement are the purchaser's responsibility, and a replacement unit carries the remaining warranty from the original purchase date.
