Avalon A50 In-Wall Bottle Filler
A touchless, filtered bottle filler that recesses into the wall and drains itself
Old hallway fountains get skipped because bottles don't fit under the spout and nobody wants to press a shared button. The Avalon A50 fixes both: a 12 inch tall dispensing area takes full-size bottles, and a bottle sensor starts the flow without anyone touching the unit.
The A50 mounts inside the wall with a built-in drain, so spills and drips go down the line instead of onto the floor. Water runs through NSF-certified dual filtration at 2.5 liters per minute, a UV-C LED sanitizes the water path every time it dispenses, and a leak detector and bottles-saved counter come standard.
The A50 dispenses room temperature water. For cold water, the Avalon A50-C bundles this filler with the A50-CC chiller for $999.99. No wall cavity to work with? The A50-SB is the out-of-wall version.

Installing an in-wall bottle filler

- Wall cutout 14.43 in wide x 23.8 in high, between two studs (the 19 x 24.5 in face covers it)
- Drain line inside or near the wall for the included 10 ft drain tube
- Cold water line, 10 to 72 psi, for the included 3/8 in tubing
- Grounded 110V outlet in or near the cavity, indoors only (no extension cords)
- Wall shallower than the unit? Avalon's Trim Kit Extender covers up to a 3/4 in gap
- Filters, tubing, valve adapter, anchors, screws, and wrench are in the box
A50 filters and upkeep
The A50 uses Avalon's NSF-certified dual filter set, models A4FILTER and A5FILTER. Each set lasts about 1,500 gallons or 6 months, and the display shows a replace-filter indicator when it is time.
Changes happen from the front: remove the faceplate, close the shutoff valve, twist out both cartridges, and press the reset button. The first set ships with the unit. When it is time, order the Avalon dual replacement filter set.

Avalon A50 FAQs
Does the A50 mount on the wall or in it?
In it. The A50 recesses into a framed wall cutout and connects to a drain. If you can't open the wall, the A50-SB is Avalon's out-of-wall version.
Does the A50 chill water?
No, the A50 dispenses room temperature filtered water. For water at about 46 to 54°F, choose the A50-C, which pairs this filler with the A50-CC chiller. The chiller can sit on a shelf, under a cabinet, or in the wall below behind the A50-GRILL cover. For an out-of-wall cooled unit, look at the A50-SB-C.
What does it need to install?
A 14.43 x 23.8 in cutout between two studs, a drain line, a cold water line, and a grounded 110V outlet. The unit screws to the studs, and the tubing, drain tube, and hardware come in the box. If your wall is a little shallower than the unit, Avalon's Trim Kit Extender closes up to a 3/4 in gap.
Is the A50 ADA compliant?
No. Avalon lists the A50 as not ADA compliant. If the location needs an accessible unit, the Avalon A51 is ADA compliant and pairs a chilled drinking fountain with a bottle filler. Call us and we'll help you pick the right setup.
Can I manage several units at once?
Yes. The A50 connects over WiFi to the Avalon app, so facilities teams can track multiple units and filter life from a phone.
