Buying guide

How to choose a beach shower

A beach shower is a tall freestanding outdoor shower set where people come off the sand: at the beach access, the end of a dock, a pool gate or the bottom of the deck stairs. The goal is a fast rinse that keeps sand and salt out of the house.

Pick a steel that handles salt air

Salt air is hard on metal. The No Worries Showers beach showers here, the Bondi and Lamez towers, are built from 316L marine-grade stainless steel, the grade to choose closest to the ocean. Browse all 316 stainless outdoor showers.

Head, hand shower and foot shower

A big rainfall head rinses quickly. A hand shower helps with kids, pets and gear, and a foot shower near the base, found on several Magnus models, gets sand off feet without a full rinse. The Bondi Double Head gives two people room to rinse at once.

Mounting and water

Beach shower towers bolt to a level concrete pad or footing, with the supply line coming up from below. Many have a hot and cold mixer, but a cold-only line works fine for a quick beach rinse. Plan where the water drains, such as a gravel bed or sand. Add a foot wash station by the door for an extra rinse.

Before you buy a beach shower

  2. Base

A level concrete pad or footing to bolt to.

  3. Water

A cold line, or hot and cold lines for a mixer valve.

  4. Drainage

Gravel, sand or a drain that carries water away.

Contact us →
What is the best material for a beach shower?
316 marine-grade stainless steel. It resists salt air far better than ordinary 304 stainless, which is why the No Worries beach showers here use 316L.
Does a beach shower need hot water?
No. Many beach showers run on cold water only. Models with a mixer need hot and cold lines if you want warm water.
How do you mount a beach shower tower?
Most bolt to a level concrete pad or footing with the supply line brought up from below. Each product page lists the pipe height and fittings.
Do beach showers ship free?
Yes. Shipping is free on every beach shower, and we only collect sales tax on orders shipped to Georgia.
