Buying guide

How to choose a wall-mounted outdoor shower

A wall-mounted outdoor shower fixes to an exterior wall, so it uses the least space of any outdoor shower and keeps the plumbing short. It is a natural fit beside a house, garage, cabana, pool house or fence.

Shower rail, mixer or rainfall kit

The No Worries Delta is a wall-mount outdoor shower rail with a hand shower and a hot and cold mixer. The No Worries Alpha is a wall-mount shower with a hot and cold mixer. Magnus offers a wall-mount exposed outdoor rainfall shower, and a pull chain rainfall shower for a simple, classic rinse.

Exposed or in-wall plumbing

Exposed outdoor showers run the pipe on the outside of the wall, which is easier to add to an existing house. Mixers made for the wall may need the supply lines behind the wall surface. Check the install guide on each product page for rough-in and fittings before you start.

Water and drainage

Mixer models need hot and cold supply lines for warm water, while a pull chain shower suits a single cold line. Plan where the water goes, such as a gravel bed or drain, and keep it away from the foundation. Add hooks, a soap bracket or a hand shower from our outdoor shower accessories.

Before you buy a wall-mounted outdoor shower

  1. Wall

A solid exterior wall or post that can take the fasteners.

  2. Plumbing

Exposed pipe on the wall, or supply lines behind it for a wall mixer.

  3. Water

Hot and cold lines for a mixer, or one cold line for a simple shower.

  4. Drainage

Keep water away from the foundation with gravel or a drain.

Contact us →
Can I mount an outdoor shower on the side of my house?
Yes, that is the most common spot. Use a solid wall, keep the drain water away from the foundation, and check local code. We recommend a licensed plumber for hot water connections.
What is an exposed outdoor shower?
An exposed outdoor shower runs its pipe on the outside of the wall instead of inside it, which makes it easier to add to an existing building.
Do wall-mounted outdoor showers need hot water?
No. A pull chain or single-line shower works on cold water. Mixer models need hot and cold lines for warm water.
Do wall-mounted outdoor showers ship free?
Yes. Shipping is free on every outdoor shower, and we only collect sales tax on orders shipped to Georgia.
