Avalon A5 Bottleless Water Cooler

Avalon's best selling bottleless water cooler, with hot, cold, and room temperature water

The Avalon A5 is Avalon's best seller for a reason: it connects to your existing water line, filters an endless supply through NSF-certified dual filtration, and ends jug deliveries for good.

Push buttons pour 185°F hot, room temperature, and 47°F cold water. A child safety lock guards the hot tap, UV self-cleaning keeps the tanks sanitary, a nightlight lights the spout, and leak detection shuts off the water if something goes wrong.

Available in stainless steel or black. Want adjustable temperatures and a clock display? Step up to the Avalon A13. Want reverse osmosis? See the A5-RO.

Avalon A5 FAQs

What is the difference between the A5 and the A13?

Both are freestanding bottleless coolers with the same filters. The A13 adds adjustable hot and cold temperatures and a clock display for $100 more.

What is the difference between the A5 and the A5-RO?

The A5-RO uses 4-stage reverse osmosis filtration to lower dissolved solids in the water, and it needs a drain line for RO waste water. The A5 uses 2-stage filtration and needs no drain.

Do I need a plumber to install it?

No. The A5 connects to a cold water line under a sink or to a refrigerator water line with the included adapters and 20 ft of tubing. Avalon says no technician is required.

Does it need a drain?

No. Any overflow collects in the removable drip tray.

How long until the water is hot and cold?

After the tanks fill (10 to 15 minutes), hot water takes about 15 to 20 minutes and cold water about 1 hour on first startup.

How often do the filters need changing?

Every 6 months or 1,500 gallons. The Avalon dual replacement filter set replaces both filters at once.
