Avalon A13 Bottleless Water Cooler

A bottleless water cooler with hot, cold, and room temperature water

The Avalon A13 replaces bottled water with an endless supply of filtered water from your existing water line. Two NSF-certified filters clean it, and there are no jugs to lift, store, or reorder.

Push buttons pour 185°F hot, room temperature, and 47°F cold water, both adjustable on the digital display. A child safety lock guards the hot tap, automatic UV cleaning keeps the tanks sanitary, and a nightlight lights the spout.

Available in grey or black. Want touchless cold water? The Avalon A13-S adds a hands-free sensor.

A13 filters and upkeep

The A13 uses Avalon's NSF-certified dual filter set, models A4FILTER and A5FILTER. Each set lasts about 1,500 gallons or 6 months. The filter light blinks red as a warning and turns solid with a beep when it is time.

Open the cabinet door, close the valve to the left of the filters, twist out the sediment (left) and carbon (right) filters, and twist in the new set. Open the valve, hold the filter reset button until the light goes off, then run water for about 2 minutes. Order the Avalon dual replacement filter set when it is time.

Avalon A13 FAQs

What is the difference between the A13 and the A13-S?

They are the same cooler. The A13-S adds a touchless sensor for cold water and comes in stainless steel. The A13 uses push buttons and comes in grey or black.

Do I need a plumber to install it?

No. The A13 connects to a cold water line under a sink or to a refrigerator water line with the included adapters and 20 ft of tubing. Avalon says no technician is required.

Does it need a drain?

No. Any overflow collects in the removable drip tray, and a red float rises when it needs to be emptied.

How long until the water is hot and cold?

After the tanks fill (10 to 15 minutes), hot water takes about 15 to 20 minutes and cold water about 1 hour on first startup.

How often do the filters need changing?

Every 6 months or 1,500 gallons. The filter light warns you ahead of time, and the Avalon dual replacement filter set replaces both filters at once.

What happens if it leaks?

Two leak sensors (electronic and mechanical) watch the cabinet. If either trips, the cooler shuts off its water intake, blinks its buttons, and beeps.
