Avalon A1 Top Load Water Cooler
A simple freestanding top load water cooler with hot and cold press paddles
The Avalon A1 is an easy, affordable way to get hot and cold water from standard 3 or 5 gallon jugs. Set the jug on top, plug it in, and it is ready to go.
Press a cup against the paddle for 185°F hot or 47°F cold water. A child safety lock guards the hot side, and the built-in puncture rod opens non-spill caps for you.
Want a cool water tap too? See the Avalon A10. Rather not lift jugs? Look at a bottom load cooler.

Avalon A1 FAQs
What size jugs does it take?
Standard 3 or 5 gallon water jugs from any delivery service or store.
Does the A1 have room temperature water?
No. It pours hot and cold. For a cool water tap too, see the A10.
How long until the water is hot and cold?
Once the tanks are full and the heating and cooling switches are on, plan on about 15 to 20 minutes for hot water and about 1 hour for cold on first startup.
How do I keep it clean?
Wipe the drip tray and spouts often and sanitize the tanks every few months with a water cooler cleaning solution. Your use and care guide has the step by step routine.
Can I skip the jugs altogether?
Yes. If there is a water line nearby, a bottleless water cooler like the Avalon A5 filters tap water so you never buy or haul jugs. The A1 is the better pick when there is no water line where the cooler needs to go.

- Avalon warrants its water coolers, bottle fillers, and chillers to the original purchaser against defects in materials or workmanship. Avalon will repair or replace a defective product, at its option, when the product was bought new from an authorized retailer.
- Coverage: Avalon products include a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty from the original purchase date. The warranty ends early if the product is sold or transferred.
- Registration: Register your unit with Avalon within 30 days of purchase to activate the warranty on Avalon's product registration page. Keep your model number, order number, and purchase date.
- Troubleshooting first: Every claim starts with troubleshooting alongside Avalon's support team. If a part fixes the issue, Avalon provides that part at no cost. A replacement unit is considered only after parts and troubleshooting have been tried.
- Installation and labor: Installation, maintenance, and repairs are the purchaser's responsibility. Plumber or third-party labor and extra installation materials are not covered.
- Not covered: Damage from accidents, misuse, improper installation or maintenance, relocation, unauthorized repairs, or unsanitary conditions. Units must be plugged directly into a grounded wall outlet. Using an extension cord or surge protector voids the warranty.
- Shipping damage: Report any shipping damage within 30 days of purchase. Damage reported after 30 days is not eligible for a warranty claim.
- A valid serial number and proof of purchase may be required. Shipping costs to return a product for repair or replacement are the purchaser's responsibility, and a replacement unit carries the remaining warranty from the original purchase date.
- Please contact us before returning any product or submitting a warranty claim so we can review your situation and connect you with the right support.

Where does it ship from, and how long does delivery take?
Most units ship directly from the manufacturer's U.S. warehouse, and shipping is free on every product. The shipping box near the top of this page shows the estimated ship date and delivery window for this item, and you get tracking as soon as it ships. Larger units can ship by freight, and the carrier may call to set up delivery.

Inspect the shipment before you sign. If you see damage, note it on the delivery receipt, keep all packaging, and contact us within 48 hours with your order number and photos. We will work with you on parts, repair, replacement or a refund.
